1st Choice In Home Care Services provides in home support from the strength-based perspective.  We encourage independence by providing expert support in the areas that our consumers need us most.


We are a non-medical, home health care agency of dedicated, experienced practitioners and caregivers who believe in working with families to help their loved ones live safely and independently in their own homes.  We work together to meet their home health care needs regardless of their stage in life. Our caregivers believe in providing comprehensive home care services in a compassionate and respectful manner, always mindful of the unique needs of our clients.  We also believe in educating our families and clients as we work with them to achieve the best outcome possible. 








Our consumers are a vital and vibrant member of their community and so our agency is committed to helping them to remain active within their community.  Our consumer-centric Model of Care is built on helping the consumer take full advantage of the resources available to them to address unmet needs.  We strengthen their support network of family, friends, medical & clinical professionals and community partners to empower their ability to remain safely and independently in their chosen environment.  


We provide personalized, high-quality, in home care and support.  As a home health care agency will assist our consumers with activities of daily living (ADLs)  and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).    Our services provide support with

As a MO HealthNet provider we can provide assistance to help consumers manage, coordinate, and receive the full benefits of their care.  We are able to provide individualized Care Plans to physicians, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers to help them better plan for discharge.  We can also make sure that all supportive benefits such as Call A Ride, ADA services, durable medical equipment, home modifications and adaptations can be accessed.

 



Caregivers can become overwhelmed with the tasks of caring for someone living with a disability or failing health.  We provide resources and additional support to our caregivers to make sure that they are prepared and capable of providing care to our consumers.  From help with public assistance to tips on stress management and self care, we are here to make sure that they can be there!
